AJH MONTHLY NEWS
June 2026
Welcome to summer, AJH Families!
As we transition into the offseason, it is the perfect time to shift gears. Right now, your number one priority should be to focus on playing other sports, getting outside, being a kid, and enjoying well-deserved time away with your family and friends. Taking a mental and physical break isn't just a reward for a hard-fought season—it's a critical part of staying hungry for the game.
As you grow into your teens, the landscape of competitive youth sports changes. Your body is entering a prime window for physical growth, and the offseason is where you take advantage of it. Building the size, functional strength, and explosive speed required to compete at the next level has already started!
Don't forget to join us for the 4th of July Parade!
We need players rollerblading, parents, and families to sit with us in Aspen's Old Fashioned 4th of July Parade! This is a fantastic way to represent AJH in the community, especially with the incredible local support we receive from so many local businesses.
*If you are interested in being a part of the parade, please contact us.
This year's official parade theme is 1776! in celebration of the 250th anniversary of our independence.
- When: Saturday, July 4th. The parade begins exactly at 11:00 AM (Specific AJH meet-up time and staging location will be sent out as we get closer).
- Where: Downtown Aspen Core.
- Attire: Wear your AJH jerseys, your best patriotic gear, rollerblades, and comfortable walking shoes
Let’s get a great turnout to show off our Aspen Junior Hockey pride.
