Morning Skills

Hockey families, we are thrilled to announce the return of our highly successful Morning Skills program for our AJH athletes. As a program dedicated to comprehensive youth development, we understand the importance of proper progression and development for each athlete. Last year, we witnessed tremendous growth in our players who participated in the program, but also noted some fatigue towards the end of the season. To address this, we have designed a 15-week program (or a 21-week program with the Spring Skills combined option) that includes two ice sessions per week, with breaks at the end of October during Thanksgiving week, Christmas break, and the last week of January. Ice sessions take place Tuesday and Thursday mornings, starting from October 8th, until February 20th. Our Morning Skills program aligns with Aspen Junior Hockey's focus on character-building, community involvement, and athletic advancement. We are committed to providing the best possible experience for our athletes and are confident that this program will be a valuable investment in their skills development and personal growth. Join us for an exciting and rewarding season of Morning Skills!

*We will continue to work with the school systems for possible time adjustments.

Spring Skills Comming soon!

AJH is excited to announce our 5th Annual 2025 Spring Ice. Our Coaching Staff is thrilled to get started and ready to build off AJH's success last season! As we continue to build off the 2024-25 season.

The Aspen Junior Hockey program understands that success starts with skill development and hard work, which begins again in our Spring Camp. This Camp will be geared towards individual skill development from Midget down to Mites, providing an opportunity for players motivated to become better hockey players. We'll separate players as needed for specific or advanced techniques.

AJH helps each player be best prepared before tryouts and evaluations. This ice will be available in April, with exact days and times TBD. The camp sessions will be spread out during the week to grant players enough recovery between sessions. It is the fifth year of running our skills Camp; just like last summer and this past spring, we aim to continue building long-term development for our athletes. The camp will be open to non-AJH members as we hope to keep the game growing in the valley.

We're excited and ready to have another successful year and hope we go unhinged while staying safe and healthy.
